The Sanaaq Centre offers a wide range of cultural and leisure activities. In addition to a library and a performance hall, you will find a coffee shop, a medialab-musilab, community spaces, and more.

Cultural and learning spaces
- LibraryYouth and adult collections in several languages, musical instrument loans, free activities for all ages.
- Performance hallThis modular hall with 255 seats can host a range of events, from concerts and shows to conferences.
- Exhibition hallVisual or digital arts exhibitions. Open to the public every day from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
- Médialab-musilabRecording studio, music listening areas, loans of vinyl records and sheet music, musical instruments and video game consoles.
- Urban agriculture spaceLearn about gardening. Open only for activities.
- Cooking labKitchen area offering cooking lessons. Open only for activities.
- Digital kioskTraining and support in office automation and IT.
Spaces for creation and artistic encounters
- Artists in residenceThe centre welcomes artists in residence by offering them spaces, equipment and professional resources.
- Visits, meetings, and creative workshopsCultural mediation projects are developed with artists, schools and local organizations. Info: mediation-sanaaq@montreal.ca
Coffee shop
- Sanaaq CaféThis friendly space operated by L'Itinéraire offers a selection of drinks and snacks. Terrace in summer season.
Community
- Peter-McGill community tableThe administrative office of the Table de quartier manages L'îlot citoyen, a bulletin board dedicated to community communications.
- Booking of multipurpose rooms and meeting roomThree rooms with a capacity of 45 to 60 people and one meeting room with a capacity of 14 people.
- Booking of work roomsSpaces to work, study or hold meetings with capacities from 2 to 6 people.

To participate in most activities, you need to register. Sign up in person at the centre’s reception counter, by phone or online.

Accessibility
The Centre Sanaaq is accessible to all. People who use paratransit should ask to be dropped off at the bottom of the outdoor access ramp, at the southeast corner of Place Henri-Dunant, in front of the main entrance of the centre.
