The Mount Royal Park welcome centre is located at the summit of the mountain. The large building, steeped in the French Beaux-Arts style, features a vast interior decorated with mural paintings that celebrate the history of Montréal under the French regime.

Description
In addition to being a meeting point for visitors, the building houses a café, a souvenir shop, and washrooms. The Mount Royal Park welcome centre is also rented a few times a year for special occasions.
