Parc du Mont-Royal
Parc du Mont-Royal, Montréal’s green jewel, is affectionately known as “the mountain.” The park is home to an exceptional fauna and flora well worth discovering.
Description
In summer, take a break in the shade of large trees, have a picnic, discover the mountainside cross or Lac aux Castors, or enjoy a run or a bike ride.
In winter, enjoy the park’s sliding lanes, refrigerated rink and cross-country ski trails. Les amis de la montagne offers beginner courses in cross-country skiing.
A visitor centre near Beaver Lake offers equipment rental services.
