Postponement of the reopening of Maison Smith

A major incident caused by water is preventing us from proceeding with the reopening that was planned for spring 2026. The City is doing everything possible to ensure that the necessary work is completed as quickly as possible. Given the scale of work, reopening is now scheduled for spring 2027.

Maison Smith, the ancestral home at the entrance to Parc du Mont-Royal, welcomes thousands of visitors each year. Rare vestige of the mountain’s rural and agricultural past, it features an information desk, an exhibition hall dedicated to the mountain, a souvenir shop, and a café.
