At the Chameran mini-library, which is located in a multipurpose room at the Centre communautaire Painter, Chameran residents can borrow items for the whole family just a short walk away from home.

Services

Access to collections: Loan, return and reservation of documents

• Albums, novels, documentaries, comics, manga, DVDs and video games for youth and adults
• Access to books in French, English and Arabic
• Access to more than 4 million documents from the Montréal library network through the reservations service
• Documents can be booked at the Chameran mini library, but you must go to the Bibliothèque du Vieux Saint-Laurent or the Bibliothèque du Boisé to pick up the reserved documents.

Library assistance

• Research and identify books and other documents that meet your needs
• Search for information about a specific topic
• Use digital resources
• Reserve documents or complete an interlibrary loan application

You can register and renew your membership at this library, as well as in most libraries. You can also become a member remotely.
