Parc Arthur-Therrien welcome centre
The welcome centre is located near Boulevard Gaétan-Laberge.
Description
At La Station Énergie, located in the Arthur-Therrien park welcome centre, visitors can borrow outdoor equipment for free by showing an ID. A wide variety of items is available to encourage active recreation, including sliding tubes, snowshoes, cross-country skis with boots, skates, skateboards, Spikeball sets, disc golf gear, scooters, and ping-pong paddles.
The welcome centre also hosts a decentralized service point of the Centre d’intégration à la vie active (CIVA), offering adapted equipment to make outdoor activities accessible to everyone. Items such as a cross-country ski sled, an all-terrain wheelchair, and a lugicap can be borrowed year-round, thanks in part to funding from Sports et Loisirs de l’île de Montréal, supporting inclusive participation in both summer and winter.
