Join Pétiole and Kalbacius as they continue their alliance in exploring our world. They’ll give you the chance to practice your spellcasting skills and encounter frightening plants and whimsical creatures in the Main Greenhouse and the outdoor Maze. Expect many surprises, and watch your children showcase their creativity!

The play Même pas peur! (in French only) also returns, featuring Blandine, a sweet little pattypan squash, in a funny and thrilling show about fear and courage. And new activities are sure to entertain the whole family!

IN THE MAIN GREENHOUSE

For the Halloween season, the Jardin botanique’s Main Greenhouse is transformed into a most intriguing place... It's the refuge of Kalbacius, our favorite sorcerer, inhabited by his whimsical creatures. You'll spot traces of enchantment, cages holding eerie plants, and transformed squashes!

Spooky plants!

The most frightening plants are under study: spiky, monstrous, shadowy, toxic, carnivorous. Kalbacius and Petiole are searching for plant defenses to bring back to their world, but some botanical information is still missing… Your powers of observation are essential to uncover the secrets hidden behind their eerie appearance!

Kalbacius must repopulate his world with baby plant monsters. In this creative art activity, your expertise and imagination are needed to craft plant-inspired creatures and bring baby monsters to life.

The show is included with admission to the Jardin botanique, but seat reservation is recommended.

EXTERIOR LABYRINTH

The enchanted labyrinth of Kalbacius is home to the most original and uncontrollable creatures. Will you have the guts to find where they're hiding among the shadows? Keep your eyes open, set out in search of them, and beware of magical illusion!
