In line with Lachine’s cultural development plan, the Borough wishes to promote access to culture, enrich cultural experience on its territory and democratize amateur and semi-professional artistic practice. 

We are offering to exhibit the projects in the bibliothèque Saul-Bellow and bibliothèque de Saint-Pierre! Interested artists will be asked to handle the installation of their project. To do so, adjustable hanging wires with hooks and display cases are available.

• An amateur visual artist (solo or group)
• Existing works ready for installation

• Artistic quality and originality of the exhibition
• Kind, inclusive content suitable for audiences of all ages.
• Technical feasibility of the exhibition
• Priority will be given to artists from the borough

In addition to following the criteria guidelines, the selection committee will strive to represent a wide range of projects in its programming.

• Duly completed online form
• A maximum of ten photos representing the exhibition, as well as one horizontal promotional photo (1300 × 731 pixels), to be sent by email to [email protected]
• Signed consent forms from the photographed subjects (depending on the photos provided)

• For winter-spring exhibition : submit before September 27, 2026 at 5 p.m.
• For summer-fall exhibition : submit before February 26, 2027 at 5 p.m.
