Description
The Grand Prix de la danse de Montréal, awarded since 2011 by Les Prix de la Danse de Montréal, is presented to a Canadian or foreign dance artist (choreographer or dancer) in recognition of their exceptional contribution to dance.
About the award
This award comes with a cash prize of $25,000 and is presented by the city and Québécor.

The artist’s work must have been presented in Montréal during the period of reference. Stay tuned for further information.
Method of evaluation
The winner will be named by an independent jury appointed by the board of directors of the Prix de la Danse de Montréal, which has a mandate to evaluate dance works presented on a Montréal stage between July 1 and June 30 of the previous season.
