Signs of aggressiveness
Call us
Growling, snapping or tensing up can be signs of aggressive behaviour in a dog. Call us to report a problem with a dog.
Sometimes dogs bark just to express themselves, and if there are no other signs of aggression, it is simply a nuisance.

Dog owners
Has your dog bitten a person or a pet? As an owner, you have obligations:
- Contact 311 within 3 days of the assault. The dog can then be examined by a veterinarian to determine his or her condition and whether he or she is dangerous.
- Keep your pet in a fenced area, which prevents anyone from inserting their hand or foot.
- Muzzle the dog with a basket muzzle when outside the home, especially in a common area, front yard, back yard or side yard.
- Keep your dog in the same place until further notice from the city.
