The Commission sur la culture, le patrimoine et les sports is a public consultation body that looks at issues and consults the population in order to inform decision-making by elected officials who sit on city council and on the agglomeration council, including on the following subjects:

• heritage
• the library network
• the Accès Culture network 
• artist workshops and public art
• high-performance sports
• major sporting events
