Electronic products

There are several drop-off locations where you can bring your electronics.

Special pick-ups in Ahuntsic-Cartierville and Plateau-Mont-Royal for television sets and computers from Monday to Thursday. Call 311.

Upholstered furniture

There are several ways to get rid of sofas, easy chairs and mattresses. Some businesses collect used mattresses and furniture when you buy a replacement. You can also bring upholstered furniture to an ecocentre, but it will not be recycled. Except at the Saint-Laurent ecocentre, where mattresses and bedsprings are recycled. As a last resort, put items out with your garbage.

Exception: In Saint-Laurent, upholstered furniture is accepted in the bulky items collection, but you must separate your upholstered items from your non-upholstered bulky items.

Refrigeration appliances

Refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners, dehumidifiers, coolers (wine cellars, wine collers):

  • The seller of your new appliance may pick up the old one.
  • Contact GoRecycle for doorstep pick up
  • Bring them to an ecocentre. Handle the appliance carefully so harmful gases do not leak.

Special pick-ups in Saint-Léonard for air conditioners, humidifiers and thermopumps. Contact 311 from Monday to Thursday between 8.30 a.m. and 3 p.m.
