Do you work in the real estate industry? Do you have ideas for sustainable projects to improve Montréal and want to make them a reality? Form multidisciplinary teams and present your project to bring the vacant lot located at 150 Rue de Louvain Ouest to life.

A 45,000-square-metre site in the heart of Ahuntsic-Cartierville

A lot located at 150 Rue de Louvain Ouest in the Chabanel neighbourhood is this edition’s development project. Montréal wants to see a mixed-use project that is humane, inclusive and affordable. The project must align with the city’s urban development vision.

Proximity neighbourhoods

Proximity neighbourhoods are the theme of the third edition of Reinventing Montréal. Imagine a diverse, zero-carbon, sustainable and resilient project on this lot.

The site will become a vibrant neighbourhood, bringing together residential buildings, shops, smaller-scale industrial buildings and public spaces, all near bike paths and public transportation.

Submit your proposal

Form multidisciplinary teams composed of real estate stakeholders, including architects, developers, environmental experts, financial partners, innovators and artists, locally and internationally, and submit your expression of interest with the aim of purchasing the site to carry out your project.

Teams should read all the documents and deadlines related to this call for projects on the Reinventing Cities site.

Reinventing Cities, an international initiative

This call for projects is organized according to the general rules of the Reinventing Cities initiative, which was created by C40, an international grouping of cities to which Montréal belongs that are engaged in the fight against climate change.
