Dance Workshops for People Ages 65 and older

Participate in Prima Danse workshops at the library. Discover the art of dance and the feeling of well-being, both in body and mind.
Description
This series of 5 workshops combines dance classes, fitness, and psychomotor exercises. Explore skills related to creativity, cooperation, memory, coordination, balance, and emotional communication.
The artistic experience is designed to be rhythmic and accessible. Prima Danse activities are adapted for people with reduced mobility. The goal is to learn to move according to one’s abilities, develop body awareness, and accept one’s personal limitations.
