Intercultural Bridges Film Club: Short Films by Karla Meza
Three films, three perspectives, one essential message: come and discover the committed work of Karla Meza and discuss the realities experienced by immigrants in Central America.
Description
Discover the films of Karla Meza — Erased, Wanderings, and Nu Ulew (My Land) — followed by a Q&A with the director.
Through a sensitive and profoundly human approach, Karla Meza gives voice to often-invisible journeys. Her works explore the realities experienced by immigrants from Central America: exile, memory, identity, but also the resistance and hope that mark these paths.
This screening will be followed by a discussion with the filmmaker, offering an open and respectful space for dialogue. The audience will be invited to reflect on the social, cultural, and political issues related to migration, while discovering intimate and powerful stories.
A unique opportunity to meet a committed artist and gain a deeper understanding of contemporary immigration through the lens of documentary and experimental cinema.
