As the winter solstice approaches, Strada Productions presents its traditional holiday concert featuring the Malka Trio.
The Malka Trio—composed of Gabrielle Bouthillier (vocals, flutes, accordion, cromorne), Liette Remon (vocals, violin, clarinet, bagpipes, cromorne), and Pierre Langevin (vocals, clarinet, flutes, bagpipes, cromorne)—is joined for this concert by a special guest: Jasmin Cloutier on guitar. They take us on a journey to discover extraordinary Christmas carols, from Occitania to Georgia, via Corsica, Bulgaria, Italy, Bessarabia, England, and Quebec, to name just a few.
Pre-concert talk led by music educator Frédéric Cardin from 1:15 p.m. to 1:45 p.m.
The talk will be led in French.
