Three performers are ready to take on the mega-challenge set by a quirky MC! In the game of the “PERFECT” family, is it even possible to win? A philosophical-pop show that blends dance and theater—and will shatter your perfectionist ideals!

Description

The show is presented in French only.

A curtain covered in scratches, a trashed armchair, a poor, battered Christmas tree… From the very first seconds, it’s clear that whatever happens here tends to break or always go wrong… And there you have it—the stage is set for Va falloir toujours toujours, this philosophical-pop show that blends dance and theater, flirts with the absurd, and wreaks havoc on our perfectionist ideals.

A team of three artists has come together to take on a major challenge: portraying the perfect family! Through short scenes that blend dance and acting, the contestants scramble to succeed under the watchful eye of a curious feline host who keeps track of what they must accomplish: being exemplary, never making mistakes. Mutual support, honesty, neatly folded laundry: we want a model family.

But, in reality, what is a family? Who has to do what to make it work? Are there other ways to approach the issues of failure and success? Va falloir toujours toujours is a timeless and delightful reflection on performance, living together, and the roles each of us plays in our households.
