Get an instalment of the subsidy for social economy businesses

Component 1

The subsidy is paid in one instalment, on presentation of the deed of sale, no more than 6 months after the project is deemed eligible and no later than 31 January 2026.

Required document

You must provide the deed of sale for the building.

Component 2

The eligible work must be completed by no later than December 31, 2027.

The subsidy is paid in two instalments:

First instalment: paid once the eligible work is started. It includes the subsidy for professional services received before the work starts, along with an amount corresponding to 50 per cent of the subsidy, based on the projected cost of the work.
Second instalment: paid upon completion of the work.

Copy of the bills for professional services rendered at the time of application and proof of their payment.
Copy of all the permits required to perform the work, and proof of payment.

Substantial work completion certificate signed by a person authorized to do so under law, for example an architect or an engineer.
Copy of the bills for the work and the professional services not provided in conjunction with the first instalment and proof of their payment.
Copy of all the permits required to complete the work and proof of payment thereof, if these documents have not already been sent.
Photos of any part of the building and the premises where the work was performed.

Components 1 and 2

The subsidy is paid in two instalments:

First instalment: paid when the deed of sale is signed. Corresponds to the subsidy received under component 1 covering the purchase of a building or a lot.
Second instalment: paid upon completion of the work. Corresponds to the subsidy received under component 2 covering the renovation or construction of a building.
