Add a statement of offence to a payment agreement

Last updated June 25, 2026

Did you receive a statement of offence, and already have a payment agreement with the municipal court? If you wish to add it to your agreement, please proceed as follows.

You must first:

  • Plead guilty and have paid the fee to enter your plea (see Tariff of Court Costs in Penal Matters (in French)) or have been found guilty of the offence, meaning that you received a notice of judgment.
  • Make a deposit of 10% of the amount due added to the agreement.

The amount and number of monthly payments set out in the payment agreement will be reassessed.
