Add a statement of offence to a payment agreement

Last updated January 4, 2024

Did you receive a new statement of offence that you’d like to add to your existing payment agreement with the municipal court? Find out how to include this statement of offence in your agreement.

To add a new statement of offence to an existing payment agreement, you must:

  • Plead guilty or have been found guilty of the offence, meaning that you received a notice of judgment.
  • Make an initial deposit of 10 per cent of the amount due.

It is possible that the instalment amount of the initial agreement will be re-evaluated when the new statement of offence is added.

Fees apply to enter your plea (see Tariff of Court Costs in Penal Matters (PDF in French).
