Report a broken street light

Have you noticed a street light on a street or in a park in Montréal that is off at night or on during the day? Let us know so we can fix them.

Identify the issue

  • Light off at night 
  • Light on during the day 
  • Flashing light 
  • Exposed electrical wires 
  • Open or hanging light cover 
  • Damage to the base or pole of the street light

Check the type of street light

Before reporting a broken street light, check to see if it is on the map of defective light-emitting diode (LED) lights(in French). 

  1. Yes, it is on the map: We are aware of the broken street light and repairs are planned. The light will be repaired within 5 weeks. 
  2. No, it is not on the map: Contact us.
