Car stations
Reserve and pick up a Communauto self-service car at one of hundreds of stations located throughout the city. See this map to find a station near you.
Self-service car parking
The city offers Communauto Flex subscribers exclusive access to sticker parking zones and certain parking meters.
Districts with sticker parking
You can park a FLEX vehicle in on-street parking reserved for residents (“sticker zones”) in the following 14 boroughs:
- Ahuntsic-Cartierville
- Anjou
- Côte-des-Neiges–Notre-Dame-de-Grâce
- LaSalle
- Le Sud-Ouest
- Le Plateau-Mont-Royal
- Mercier–Hochelaga-Maisonneuve
- Montréal-Nord
- Outremont
- Rosemont–La Petite-Patrie
- Saint-Laurent
- Verdun
- Ville-Marie
- Villeray–Saint-Michel–Parc-Extension

Downtown parking meters
Self-service vehicles can be dropped off (“released”) at parking meters in the area bounded by:
- Rue Sherbrooke and Avenue Viger
- Rue Saint-Hubert and Rue Guy
The fixed-rate service charge is paid through the Communauto mobile application. Learn about the rules you must follow.
Sharing with neighbors
The LocoMotion platform allows you to reserve and borrow an electric bike, a bike trailer or a cargo bike, or even rent a neighbor’s car. This service is available in eight boroughs:
- Ahuntsic-Cartierville
- Le Plateau-Mont-Royal
- Le Sud-Ouest
- Mercier–Hochelaga-Maisonneuve
- Rosemont–La Petite-Patrie
- Verdun
- Villeray–Saint-Michel–Parc-Extension
- Ville-Marie
Removable resident parking stickers
In Ahuntsic-Cartierville, Communauto and LocoMotion members can purchase a removable resident parking sticker. This sticker allows you to park a Communauto car borrowed from a station near your home, or a vehicle shared through LocoMotion, in a zone reserved for residents.
