Use the CitéMTL service

Does your profession require information about taxation and property assessment in Montréal, such as municipal taxes that are due or already paid? Find out how to use the CitéMTL digital service.

If you use Cité+ (in French), you can continue to do so until your prepaid balance runs out or your subscription expires.

If you have any questions about Cité+, please e-mail us at [email protected].

CitéMTL

This digital service is intended for lawyers, hypothec (mortgage) lenders and civil law notaries.

CitéMTL is not available to licensed real estate brokers, architects, builders or chartered appraisers. Instead, these professionals should use the Evalweb service (in French).

Annual subscription

To subscribe or renew your subscription, you must have an account and an organization profile on Montréal.ca. You must provide 1 photo ID and 1 proof of professional status.

The annual subscription to CitéMTL is $50 and is non-refundable. A CitéMTL subscription cannot be assigned or transferred to a third party without prior written permission from the city.

There is a fee of $70 for each consultation. You will then have unlimited access for 48 hours to both the paid property tax account statement and all other statements for that assessment unit.

The service is available Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.
