Brown bins
These bins are used to collect food waste.
This collection is called the organic waste collection in four boroughs: Lachine, L’Île-Bizard-Sainte-Geneviève, Pierrefonds-Roxboro and Saint-Laurent.

Bin lifting system
Bins with European grip
Our large wheeled bins are compatible with the lifting system used by collection trucks. They have a European grip, shown circled in red in the photo, at the same level as the lid.
If you buy your own bin, make sure it has a European grip and not an American one.
