Description
With Josée Desranleau
From the origins of Western civilization to the present day, discover the different but always magnificent faces of the Western garden (from Antiquity to the very romantic 19th century, through medieval reconstructions, spectacular terraces of the Italian Renaissance, the apotheosis of French gardens and the bucolic English garden…). History with a capital “H” contains many horticultural anecdotes that you will like to tell in turn…
Josée Desranleau holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Agronomy from McGill University, with a specialization in Horticulture, and a Master’s degree in Planning from the Université de Montréal. She taught at Cégep St-Jean-sur-Richelieu in 1989. Retired since 2015, she now gives courses and conferences for the UTA (University of Sherbrooke) and for horticultural and ecological societies.
