Description
The Commission sur le développement économique et urbain et l’habitation is a standing committee that examines all issues related to economic development, land development and housing. It consults the population in order to inform decision-making by elected officials who sit on city council and on the agglomeration council, including on the following subjects:
- the contribution of higher education establishments (CEGEPS and universities)
- activities at the Port de Montréal and the airport
- industrial parks conference
- centres urban planning, sanitation and building maintenance by-laws, etc.
