In the case of minor damage, the borough may carry out repairs

Application eligibility

  • Lawn, hedge and landscaping: must be located within 45 cm of and level with the inside edge of the sidewalk.
  • Fence: must be located more than 45 cm from the inside edge of the sidewalk.

​​​​​​​If you meet the eligibility criteria, send your request for repairs to the borough. Repairs will be made in the spring if it is approved.

Major damage

In the case of major damage, you must make a claim within 15 days of the event.
