Projects with a residential floor area greater than 18,000 square metres
The By-law for a Diverse Metropolis sets out new requirements for any project with a residential floor area exceeding 18,000 square metres, which is equivalent to more than 200 housing units.
Real estate developers must contribute to the supply of off-market social or affordable housing and family housing.
