1. Put debris in the dumpster at the municipal garage yard free of charge, twice a year and per address maximum. Past those limits, the cost is $25 for the first m3 and $11.20 for each additional m3.
2. Call 311 to request a special paid home pickup: Minimum $125 for the first m3 and $45 for each additional m3. Request an estimate of the cost of the goods to be disposed of.

During snow clearing operations, bulky items and construction debris are not collected.
Guidelines
- Maximum volume by address: 2 m3 (176 ft3). In excess of this amount, you must hire a private contractor.
- Maximum weight per box or container: 25 kg (55 lb).
- Put out items in a way that does not compromise anyone’s safety.
- For safety reasons, remove the doors of washers and dryers.
- For safety reasons, remove all nails, screws and other sharp metal parts.
- For safety reasons, avoid using cardboard boxes when it’s raining (the cardboard gets soggy and falls apart, causing the contents to fall out).
- Attach planks of wood in bundles that are no longer than 1 m (3.3 ft) long and with a diameter no greater than 50 cm (20 in). The weight of the bundle must not exceed 25 kg.

- Cardboard boxes up to 1.5 m (4.9 ft.) and up to 25 kg (55 lb.) when filled
- Garbage cans with lids and handles, up to 150 litres and up to 25 kg (55 lbs) when filled
Construction waste can also be tied in bundles up to 50 cm in diameter, 1 m long and weighing up to 25 kg (55 lbs).
All plastic bags, even so-called “construction” bags sold in hardware stores, are banned as containers.
