- Maximum weight per box or container: 25 kg (55 lb).
- Put out items in a way that does not compromise anyone’s safety.
- For safety reasons, remove the doors of washers and dryers.
- For safety reasons, remove all nails, screws and other sharp metal parts.
- For safety reasons, avoid using cardboard boxes when it’s raining (the cardboard gets soggy and falls apart, causing the contents to fall out).
- Avoid taking out bulky objects and garbage when a snow removal operation is planned, as they can impede operations.
- Attach planks of wood in bundles that are no longer than 1 m (3.3 ft) long and with a diameter no greater than 50 cm (20 in).
Call 311 for a special collection of:

2. Call 311 to request a special paid home pickup: Minimum $125 for the first m3 and $40 for each additional m3. Request an estimate of the cost of the goods to be disposed of.
