Partnership and Visibility Agreements

Last updated October 23, 2024

Partnership agreements define the type of support offered to organizations providing services to the public. These agreements also dictate the visibility standards to be met. Here’s what you need to know about them.

Montréal has major partnership agreements, for example one with the Ministère de la culture et des communications on Montréal’s cultural development. Each year, the city also enters into hundreds of partnership agreements with organizations in the cultural, recreational and social development fields.

Visibility of the city

A Visibility Protocol is attached to partnership agreements. This document sets out the conditions that partner organizations agree to meet in order to recognize the city’s support and give it fair visibility.

Use of the Montréal logo

The logo may only be used with the authorization of Ville de Montréal, in the context of an official partnership, within a framework established as part of a prior convention, or agreement between the interested parties. A visibility protocol is in place regarding commitments made to the city.

In this context, persons who are authorized to use the city’s logo may do so in accordance with the available guidelines, instructions regarding its use and graphic standards to comply with.
