Standing committees
Standing committees ensure that the needs and aspirations of Montrealers are central to deliberations about the public interest and decision-making. Their mission is to examine files and hold public consultations in which citizens are invited to participate.
This process helps clarify decision-making by elected officials who sit on city council and the agglomeration council.
