Standards to comply with
- All components of the pool must be removed before the hole is filled in
- The type of fill must match the composition of the existing ground
- Once the pool has been removed, vegetation must be planted on at least 20 per cent of the lot
Fee
You will be required to pay $9.80 for every $1,000 of work. Regardless of the amount of work, you must pay a minimum of $161.

Processing fees for permit applications vary based on the projected cost of the work. You will be required to pay $9.80 for every $1,000 of work.
Regardless of the amount of work, you will be required to pay a minimum:
- $161 for a strictly residential building
- $473 for a commercial, industrial, institutional or mixed-use building
The projected costs must include all fees associated with the work (ex: plans, labour, equipment), taxes included.
