If you need information before you apply for a permit, you can send your questions to [email protected] or visit the permit counter.

Remember that you can apply for a permit online.

Do you need a permit?

The Ahuntsic-Cartierville permit counter is your point of service for information and permit applications. Ask us about the following topics:

  • Construction, demolition and renovation (indoor and outdoor)
  • Driveways
  • Commercial signs
  • Occupancy of public property
  • Commercial occupancy

Attention: The permit counter does not handle felling permit applications for private trees. Please call 311 for this type of application.

Avoid headaches and stress by completing your application as early as possible!

Make sure that your application is complete. Missing documents are the main reason why permit issuance is delayed.

Follow these two steps to apply for a permit.
