Renew a residents-only parking sticker

Last updated December 19, 2024

Is your sticker about to expire? Renew before it expires and continue parking near your home without interruption. Find out how to apply.

Renewal of parking stickers is not automatic. It is up to you to apply to your borough for a renewal every year (every three years in Pierrefonds-Roxboro).

It is prohibited to park your vehicle with an expired sticker, even if you have already applied for a renewal. Plan to submit your application several weeks in advance to ensure your new sticker arrives on time.

Don’t have a sticker yet? Find out how to submit an initial application.

2. Determine your rate

The price of the sticker depends on the kind of energy used by the vehicle (100 per cent electric, hybrid or gasoline), and its engine size or displacement. The price of the additional sticker is the same for all vehicles.

To determine your displacement, look on your vehicle registration certificate. The displacement is shown in litres (for example: 1.8 L), just after the make and model.

This borough offers the following benefits:

  • People with reduced mobility pay the same fee as those driving an electric vehicle.
  • Low-income earners receive a 50 per cent discount on resident rates.
  • Employees of an early childhood or daycare centre receive a 50 per cent discount on resident rates.
  • Employees of the Centre de services scolaire Marguerite Bourgeoys benefit from the same rates as residents.
  • Employees of an Outremont business or company pay higher fees than residents.
