Get details about household waste collections

Last updated February 16, 2024

Collection schedules, accepted materials, materials that are not accepted and types of bins that are allowed. Find out how to put out household waste according to standards.

Household waste or garbage must not contain:

  • Containers, wrappings, printed materials or newspapers that are accepted in the recycling collection
  • Table scraps, if there is a food waste or organic waste collection in your area
  • Hazardous household waste

You could be fined if you put out your bins at the wrong time, if your waste contains unacceptable materials, or if you use the wrong containers.
