A presentation on the evolution of local schools—from early one-room schoolhouses to the arrival of modern schools around 1960. The first schools appeared in the area around 1838. The educational structures established in 1867 remained in place until the Quiet Revolution and the creation of Québec’s Ministry of Education in 1964.
