If you are unable to find a new home for your pet, please entrust him or her to a shelter or an adoption organization for rehoming purposes.

You then have 15 days to cancel your cat or dog license.

If your dog is declared at risk or potentially dangerous, you can only surrender the dog to a shelter or a veterinary clinic under the condition that you notify the city two days in advance and provide proof of surrender within three days. The dog’s status must be disclosed at the time of surrender.
