This fall, the work have been completed on the brand new intergenerational cooling station at Rive-Boisée Park, located on the site of the former PPK swimming pool. Discover the new facility, which offers an inclusive and refreshing experience for all ages.

As of summer of 2026, the neighbourhood will be able to enjoy this new cooling spot, which features two distinct areas: a calm and friendly area where families can relax without getting wet, and a second area dedicated to children, with fun water pads that encourage free play. In the evening, changing colors projected onto the ground transform the site into a magical and soothing space.

The result of the Ville de Montréal’s participatory budget, this winning project—funded to the tune of $1 million—reflects citizens’ desire to create meeting places and spaces for well-being that are accessible to all. It is part of an effort to revitalize public spaces, led by the borough and supported by the local population and Montrealers.
