March Break: What to do in Saint-Laurent

Once again, this year, Saint-Laurent is offering a variety of activities for spring break.

Several sports, cultural, and leisure activities are available in Saint-Laurent for spring break from February 28 to March 8, 2026. Join us at the locations below for a fun-filled week!

  • Centre d’exposition Lethbridge: 2727, boulevard Thimens
  • Complexe Sportif de Saint-Laurent: 2385, boulevard Thimens
  • Musée des métiers d’art du Québec: 615, avenue Sainte-Croix
  • Salle Émile-Legault : 613, avenue Sainte-Croix 

Registration is required for certain activities. Check the detailed schedule below before coming! Unless otherwise indicated, activities are offered free of charge.

Hockey  

Monday, March 2 to Friday, March 6 
For all ages — 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. 
Fees: $8 
Registration on-site. 
A helmet with full visor, neck guard, and gloves is mandatory. 

Public Skating 

  • Wednesday, March 4: 7:05 p.m. to 8:55 p.m.
  • Saturdays February 28 and March 7: 7:05 p.m. to 8:55 p.m.
  • Sundays March 1 and 8: 3:20 p.m. to 4:55 p.m. 

For all ages.

A program full of surprises and discoveries awaits participants at the Bibliothèque du Boisé and the Bibliothèque du Vieux-Saint-Laurent. 

Document borrowing is available with a biblio‑loisirs card.

Library-wide “Search and Find” — For all ages 

March 2 (10 a.m. to 1 p.m.): 
Birdwatching in parc Marcel‑Laurin forest with the Éco‑quartier.

Masked play workshop

Winter wildlife discovery walk in parc Marcel‑Laurin with Éco‑quartier

Bibliothèque du Vieux-Saint-Laurent 

February 28 to March 8: 
Spring Break Rally!

The Centre communautaire Painter is a lively gathering place in the heart of the Chameran neighborhood, including the Mini-bibliothèque de Chameran, where documents can be borrowed on presentation of a biblio-loisirs card. Entertaining activities are offered to families in the area during the March break for children aged 3 and over. An adult must be present for children aged 8 and under.

Swimming Activities 

The Saint‑Laurent Sports Complex offers free swim (open to everyone aged 6 months and up) in the recreational pool, as well as lane swimming in the 25‑meter pool.

Badminton – All Ages 

$13 per hour per court — reservation required

  • Get a stamp for each activity attended.
