At its meeting on January 13, 2025, Council adopted the first draft of by-law 2098-LAS-208 amending zoning by-law no. 2098 in order to be in line with by-law LAS-0146-4 and support the commercial revitalization of Central and Édouard streets in Village des Rapides.

By-law 2098-LAS-208 contains provisions specific to a by-law subject to referendum approval, while by-law LAS-0146-4 contains none.
