Activities

• Inflatable play structures and fair ground games

Near the pool, 1 p.m. - 8 p.m. 

• Skateboard party

Bring your skateboard and helmet. Entertainment and door prizes.
Parc de planche à roulette Pierre-Charron, 1:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.

• Exhibition of heavy public works vehicles, plus SPVM and SIM vehicle

Discover the “heavyweights” of public works: 10-wheel dump truck, street sweeper, tanker truck with articulated arm, etc.  Employees will be on hand to explain how these out-of-the ordinary machines work.  The Service de sécurité incendie de Montréal (SIM) will be on hand, as well, with fire trucks, including one that simulates smoke. SPVM vehicles will also be part of this large-scale display, visible from afar!

10^e Avenue, between Saint-Antoine and Victoria, closed for this event, 3:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.

Organization’s activities

• Slow-pitch softball tournament

A great classic organized by the Association de baseball amateur de Lachine, August 17-20 at stade Denis-Boucher and baseball field no 1 at parc LaSalle. The final day will feature a game ($) with former Expos players at 1 p.m.

• Urban art workshop

In collaboration with singer-songwriter Géraldine Saucier and the staff of the Graffiti Lachine program, the Tyxna muralist collective invites you to participate in the design of their next work of mural art. From 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the corner of 10th Avenue and Victoria Street.

Other Lachine organizations will be on hand to present a performance or showcase their services. Don’t hesitate to come and meet them.
