Written Public Consultations in Pierrefonds-Roxboro

In the context of COVID-19, the borough of Pierrefonds-Roxboro has adapted its public participation practices. Certain procedures have been replaced by written consultations. Find out how to make your point of view heard on the projects under study.

Procedures adapted to the context of COVID

Mandatory public consultation processes have been adapted to avoid gatherings, in accordance with Ministerial Order 2021-054. They have been replaced by 15-day written consultations for various applications, such as: PPCMOI, minor exemptions, conditional use, demolition authorization.

The Borough is also conducting virtual public participation initiatives using various digital applications.

If the application is transmitted by mail, it must absolutely be received at the above-mentioned address no later than the indicated date on the notice to be considered, regardless of mailing delays.

Projects under study

The exemption is to allow, in C-3-216 zone, for a detached commercial building:

  • a number of parking spaces of 9 parking spaces instead of the required minimum of 10 spaces;
  • a minimum circulation aisle width of 5.72 m instead of the required minimum of 6.50 m;
  • an exemption from the requirement to provide a minimum of 1 m from any lot line for off-street parking;
  • an exemption from the obligation to provide a parking space bordered by a 1 m grass strip;
  • an existing flat sign extending beyond the top of the building to which it is attached.

 

The request concerns lot 1 349 418, located at 4862, boulevard Saint-Charles, in zone C-3-216, to regularize an existing isolated commercial building in order to be able to occupy the premises with an authorized use of a support and community resources.

The exemption is to allow, in the C-5-326 zone, for a detached commercial building:

  • an attached sign that is not installed along the wall of the establishment.

 

The request concerns the lot 1 370 436, located at 12774, boulevard Gouin Ouest, in zone C-5-326 to allow the applicant, who occupies premises in the basement of the building, to install a sign attached to the front facade of the building but higher than what is permitted to give it greater visibility on boulevard Gouin Ouest.
