Step 1: Project submission form

Step 2: Required documents

Gather the following documents in electronic format:

  • A service proposal from a manager to carry out the project.
  • The letters patent or constituent act.
  • Information registered with the Registre des entreprises du Québec.
  • A resolution from the board of directors authorizing the project submission.
  • A document designating a representative acting on behalf of the organization, if applicable.
  • The résumés of all directors and board members if the board was constituted fewer than two years before the application was submitted.
  • The most recent annual report, if applicable.
  • Financial statements for the past three fiscal years or, if unavailable, all financial statement produced since the organization was constituted.
  • A line-by-line estimate for all professional services that the application concerns that can be used to establish the maximum subsidy that the organization can be granted.
  • A financial viability study conducted prior to the artists’ studio project.
  • Layout plans, if available.
  • One of the following documents:
    • A document that shows that the organization owns the building for which the application is being made as per the land registry, or has been a tenant for at least 20 years.
    • A copy of the building owner’s acceptance of the purchase offer, a copy of the emphyteutic (long-term) lease or a copy of the act of usufruct.
    • A solemn declaration that shows that negotiations are underway with a building owner to purchase or rent it for a period of at least 20 years and that has been signed by both the building owner and the organization.
