You want to stop receiving flyers and other advertising materials in your mailbox or at your door? Here’s how you can make that happen.

Advertising materials can take many forms. Circulars, brochures, leaflets, flyers and any similar printed matter created for advertising purposes are considered to be advertising materials.

You must affix a prescribed sticker directly to the place where the advertising items are received (your mailbox or door), in a clearly visible manner.

The sticker indicates to distributors that you don’t want to receive flyers or any other kind of printed advertising.

You can obtain this sticker free of charge at the Accès Montréal office in your borough or at your Eco-quartier point of service. A maximum of two stickers will be provided per household.

Multi-unit buildings

If you live in an apartment, you must get your own sticker and put it on your mailbox or door. A sticker on the door of the building is only valid for the entrance.

Required documents

A proof of residence or, for owners, a tax bill.
