Report an abandoned vehicle
Have you seen a scrap vehicle abandoned on a street? Or perhaps on private property? If the vehicle cannot run, you can report it to us, no matter whether it is on the street, an alley, or on public or private property.
To be considered as scrap, the vehicle must not be functional. For example, one of the parts needed for it to move is visibly missing. The person responsible for the vehicle may be:
- Its last owner, according to the registration
- The person possessing the scrap vehicle
- The person using it, taking it apart, or removing parts
Who is responsible for removing the vehicle?
Depending on the situation, it might be:
- The owner of the vehicle
- The owner of the yard or lot
- The person who occupies, rents, or uses the yard or lot
- The manager of the yard or property
- The representative of the property bankruptcy trustee
- The property trustee
