Gardening and Environment Day in Pierrefonds-Roxboro
Are you dreaming of enhancing your garden, nourishing your vegetable patch, or deepening your knowledge on the subject? Join us for the free distribution of vegetable plants and herbs during the Gardening and Environmental Day, organized by Pierrefonds-Roxboro.
Spring 2024
Gardening and Environment Day will be held on Saturday, May 25th, from 9 a.m. to noon, on the Pierrefonds Public Works site at 4950 René-Émard Street.
Distribution
During this family-friendly event, our horticultural teams will be distributing free vegetable plants, herbs, compost and wood chips to residents.
*A proof of residence confirming that you live in Pierrefonds-Roxboro will be required.
Varieties offered
A batch of six plants, including :
- Tagetes (edible flower useful for pollinators)
- Basil
- Swiss chard
- Cherry tomatoes
- Sweet pepper
- Parsley
Important: Compost and wood chips are not accessible by car. Bring your shovels, wheelbarrows and sturdy containers.
*Distribution available while supplies last. First-come, first-served!
For the kids
Strawberry plants will be offered to children!
