The list below presents some of the services being offered in Villeray–Saint-Michel–Parc-Extension.

Villeray District

2021 Resources guide

The CDC Solidarités Villeray has produced a guide to resources in the Villeray district in 2021. This tool was designed to identify and bring together the various resources in the neighborhood that help people who may encounter difficulties at some point.

Divided into several main themes, the guide presents more than 40 community and public organizations that respond to various needs. A map of the locations of organizations and institutions is provided at the end of the guide.

What’s more, the guide is available in seven languages: English, French, Spanish, Arabic, Creole, Vietnamese and Italian.

Saint-Michel district

Ressources offered in the neighborhood

Vivre Saint-Michel en Santé (in French) has developed a map of community resources along with various documents for the district. Saint-Michel offers residents a wide range of resources in the areas of culture, sports, recreation, health, social support, education and socio-professional integration.

Parc-Extension district

The Bureau d’information de Parc-Extension (BIPE) identifies and promotes services available in Parc-Extension. You can find the three advisors hired as part of the project at the Parc-Extension library. There, they provide information to residents and direct newcomers toward resources in the neighbourhood.

Business hours:

Monday and Friday, from noon to 4 p.m.

Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

What’s more, the information provided by the advisors is available in digital format on a public platform developed as part of the project. The platform includes the Parc-Extension resource directory (in French). The Table de quartier, also part of the BIPE, provides community stakeholders with a platform that contains a directory of resources, banks of interpreters, volunteers and jobs, as well as a calendar of local events.
