The goal of the Borough of Saint-Laurent’s Facebook Page is to quickly give residents the details of what’s happening in the community. This media is also a
platform for exchange, a place for discussion that encourages interactivity between people.

On its Facebook Page, the Borough of Saint-Laurent posts only messages that are directly related to the municipal services offered to the population.

The posts are written in French and/or English.

Exchanges between Internet users, and between Internet users and the Facebook page moderator, must be done in a courteous and respectful manner.

The following will not be tolerated:
• Insulting, defamatory, harassing, aggressive, homophobic, discriminatory, racist or sexist remarks
• Personal attacks or invasions of privacy
• Vulgar, obscene and/or malicious language
• The abusive use of capital letters (equivalent to shouting)
• Advertising and promotional solicitations
• The promotion or discrediting of a company, a product, a political party, its representatives, or authorities of the Borough of Saint-Laurent
• Repetitive and off-topic posts (spam)
