During fall and winter, take advantage of the Pierrefonds Sportplexe facilities, and our outdoor ice rinks in the winter to practice your skating skills!

Where to skate?


Before you go, check ice conditions.

Thanks to an agreement between the Borough of Pierrefonds-Roxboro and the Pierrefonds Sportplexe, residents have access to the indoor skating rinks at predetermined times. Come and have some fun and be active in a safe environment!

Information on the activity

  • Reservations are not required. Access will be given on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Ice skating supports (skating aids) are available on site.
  • The arena’s “Pro Shop” is open for skate sharpening and equipment rental ($).

Conditions of use of the premises

The following measures must be observed to maintain safe conditions for all participants, employees and partners.

Please note that only cash payments are accepted (bills of $10 or less).

  • Crowding or loitering at the edge of the rink
  • Sitting on the edge of the rink
  • Eating or drinking on the rink
  • Skating with someone on your back or in your arms, including young children
  • Pushing and shoving
  • Racing or skating at excessive speed
  • Forming a human chain, playing tag or throwing snowballs
  • Braking too sharply
  • Throwing objects on the rink
  • Skating in the opposite direction or backwards
  • performing figure skating tricks or playing hockey
  • Using objects on the rink (balls, pucks)
  • Using headphones, mobile phones or portable radios
  • That beginners wear a helmet and gloves
  • To get up as soon as possible after a fall
  • That beginners skate in the section reserved for them
  • That an adult accompany young children at all times
