Report a road safety problem or a vehicle violation
Would you like to report a road safety problem or a vehicle violation that compromises the safety, the fluidity of traffic or the parking by-law? Here are the steps!
In the Borough of Pierrefonds-Roxboro, two main organizations are responsible for enforcing the road safety code: the Agence de mobilité durable and the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM). It is the responsibility of each citizen to report any situation using the options described below.
How to report a vehicle violation
Obstruction affecting safety
If your report concerns a situation that affects safety or traffic flow and requires immediate intervention by a sustainable mobility agent, call 514 868-3737.
Examples: vehicle immobilized in a reserved lane, obstructing traffic or preventing you from entering or leaving your home.
In case of emergency, call 911.
Obstructions that contravene regulations
To report parking violations in your neighbourhood that require rapid intervention, but do not affect safety or traffic flow, please complete the Agence de mobilité durable form. These offences concern :
- Fire hydrants
- Charging stations
- Trucking
- Short-term parking
- Private lots
- Residents-only parking zones (or parking stickers)
- No-parking areas – school zones or drop-off points
